A double-whammy. After a failed website migration resulted in a major loss of organic traffic, Riverside Theatres had become highly reliant on paid media to maintain ticket volumes within each venue. Chunky Duck was engaged to address the organic traffic decline and improve overall campaign performance across Google and Meta.

Riverside Theatres is the centrepiece of arts and entertainment in Sydney’s central city, Parramatta, offering live experiences you can’t have at home. A successful cultural and community asset, Riverside plays an important role in building a diverse, thriving local city culture.

Strategy + process

After auditing all current digital marketing activities, we implemented a range of technical improvements to the Riverside website, along with rebuilding all media campaigns from the ground up. By reducing Riverside’s reliance on publisher-owned bidding strategies through independent third-party bidding tech, a more rapid optimisation model could be implemented.
